I built my current system just over two years ago now (at the time of writing, Dec 2025). It has an i5-12600k, a RTX 4070, two 1TB NVME SSDs, one 500GB SATA SSD, 32GB of DDR5 memory, all on a MSI Tomahawk Z690. I initially had 16GB installed, but later upgraded (and thank god it was ahead of the huge spike in RAM price, thanks big AI).

Like in the description of the video, the uses I had mind were for video editing, and games.
